Leaky Studio is a Graphic, Web and Exhibition Design studio operating out of Berlin, Germany and working internationally. The Studio’s focus lies in the visual/experiential presence of creative industries, artists, architects, as well as academic and research presentations.

Information Design

Within the realm of academics, the studio specialises in the representation of social / scientific research through graphics, publications, exhibition design as well as web sites. The studio enjoys learning about a broad range of activities and therefore upon each project delves in with the content producers, in order that forms and modalities can be developed in congruence with content. As such Leaky Studio positions itself as a facilitator and aesthetic filtre of sorts for the content at hand: affective/effective design.

Artists and Creative Fields

Working with artists and other creative industries, it of importance for authors works to come through without an over-presence of design. As such the Studio focuses on the idea of the Interface (for all mediums, not just web) towards documented materials - starting with the question of how an audience or public can best gain access to works, in order for them to speak for themseves: access(ive) design (and not excessive design).

Visibility and Open Source

Within the field of Screen / Web design, Leaky Studio actively uses, participates and benefits from the Open Source Community. The Studio only employs Open Source software for complex content management of self-administered websites, using primarily Wordpress. Behind the scenes of your web pages all the extra tags and titles are used to ensure your site gets maximum visibility in Search Engines, such as Google. Design-wise, the studio also consults with clients as to how to maximize their visibility through the content of their respective site.
